| Since 1984, The Foundation for Hospital Art has been dedicated to softening the hospital environment with colorful paintings, wall murals and ceiling tiles. Participants paint pre-drawn, color-coded designs at PaintFests® held in a variety of settings around the world. The artwork is touched-up and then donated to needy hospitals on behalf of the sponsor. |
 Join the growing army of Americans that will be painting this summer to honor our veterans! Across the country, individuals, groups, companies, schools, churches, and volunteers are painting our "American Eagle" design on or near the 4th of July, 2009. The centerpiece of the Great American PaintFest will be in Washington, D.C. at the Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center on July 4th. Soldiers from Baghdad to Fort Benning will also paint. Veterans at VA Hospitals around the country will be invited to paint as our country stands up and paints for its' veterans and their families.
