"Painting In And For All The Hard Places"

Our dream to reach patients and medical staffs "in all the hard places" is in full bloom.

Hard places are those areas where patients and medical staffs are working under stress for long periods of time…where hope is in the air…where life-dreams are challenging…where prayer expresses the thoughts and hopes of your soul. Adding color and scenes from nature in blank spaces can turn a bleak depressing treatment room into a room of hope.

Our days are full. We continue "Operation Lovejoy", painting with homeless men and volunteers in The Atlanta Union Mission's Carpenter House on Saturday mornings. You can follow our on-going schedule by checking out our activity on our website or calling the studio for the latest updates. Just click on "Schedule" on our homepage.

Hope you join our "Painting Army" by volunteering. You could help in the studio or at a PaintFest or by simply introducing our mission to your nearest hospital or nursing home.

"Thanks for the great time [we] had painting. Aside from being therapeutic for the patients it's a great way for the parents and visitors to get the troubles that they are dealing with off of their minds for a while."
