The painting technique is simple, no artistic experience is necessary. Watch the short video online and look through the website. Then, see if any of the following volunteer opportunities appeal to you:

• Volunteer In The Studio

  
  The Foundation for Hospital Art's Roswell, Georgia Studio is open to volunteers between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Extra hands are always needed to help touch-up the artwork before it can be donated to hospitals. This is easy, relaxing work and does not require any artistic experience. We are also in need of volunteers who like to do light office work.

  You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer at the Studio. Please call in advance to alert us of when you plan to volunteer.

  The Studio is located on the GROUND FLOOR of 120 Stonemist Court, Roswell, GA 30076. Please enter through the back door by walking to the end of the driveway, through the gate, and down the stairs/path to the back door. THANK YOU!

• Operation Lovejoy - Painting With the Homeless

  
  Every Saturday since 1993, community volunteers join forces with the men in The Atlanta Union Mission's Carpenter's House homelessness rehabilitation program to create paintings for 172 VA Hospitals and hospitals around the globe.

  You must be at least 13 years old to enter the building.
  A $5 per person donation is suggested to help cover the cost of art supplies. Please send checks, payable to The Foundation for Hospital Art, to: 120 Stonemist Court, Roswell, GA 30076. Sorry, no cash is accepted at Operation Lovejoy. Thank you!

• Networking

  
  "Word of mouth" is the number one way that the Foundation is introduced to new sponsors, donors, volunteers and recipient hospitals. Please take a moment to think about who you know that could sponsor a PaintFest. Or, perhaps you have a contact at a hospital that might like to receive gift paintings. Contact us with your ideas. We will send a packet of information to you or your contact and see what develops.

• Volunteer at a Scheduled PaintFest

  
  You can follow the schedule on the web site. If we will be painting in your area, you may be able to volunteer. Contact us for more information.

  The Foundation for Hospital Art is a publicly funded 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, TAX ID# 58-1563444. It relies on the donations of individuals, corporations, foundations, and community groups to fund its work in hospitals.
