- Have your hospital added to the "Needy Hospital List." You will receive completed multiple-canvas paintings as they become available from other PaintFests. Click here to provide your shipping information and be added to the list now.
- Contact us to learn more about hosting a PaintFest at no cost to your hospital. Hospital PaintFests are typically funded by corporate sponsors or foundations. We will explain how to use our marketing materials and website to assist you in finding funding for your PaintFest.
- Patients, families, hospital staff, and volunteers from the sponsoring organization are all invited to participate in the PaintFest. This is a fun, upbeat activity for everyone, a great morale booster.
- Multiple-canvas-paintings, wall murals, and ceiling tiles are pre-drawn and color-coded by the Foundation for Hospital Art. The artwork is painted and touched-up during the PaintFest, and then donated to the hospital.
- The colorful scenes from nature match any décor and do not become outdated. In scientific studies, representational nature art was shown to have a beneficial effect on patients experiencing stress and anxiety.
- Most Hospital PaintFests are about 1 to 2 days long (plus one day for the Foundation to prepare the ceiling tiles and wall murals on-site). The benefits of the artwork can last a lifetime.
- A central painting location makes it easy for passesrby to participate, if only for a few minutes during their hectic days. To include more people, and those with less mobility, painting can also take place in other places within the hospital, including: patient rooms, playrooms, nurses stations, cafeterias, and where wall murals have been drawn.
- The artwork is touched-up at the end of the PaintFest. It is signed to acknowledge the sponsor and donated to the hospital. Hanging instructions are provided for the multiple-canvas paintings. The blank ceiling tiles can be replaced with the colorful new ceiling tiles at any time.
- If desired, the positive publicity for the hospital and the sponsor can be substantial.
